On October 25, 2023, the Secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Household Appliances organized and convened the launching meeting of the national standard drafting working group for the "Household Appliances Communication Quality Evaluation Specification" in Chongqing. From China Household Appliances Research Institute, Anhui Zhongjiayun Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd., Midea Group, Qingdao Haier Intelligent Technology R&D Co., Ltd., Hisense Home Appliances Group Co., Ltd., Weineng (Wuxi) Heating Equipment Co., Ltd., BSH Home Appliances Investment (China) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Supor Co., Ltd., Io Smith (China) Water Heater Co., Ltd., Qingdao Haier Quality Inspection Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Electric (China) Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Gree Electric Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Robam Electric Co., Ltd. More than 20 representatives and experts from the company and other home appliance companies as well as testing and scientific research institutions attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Peng, Secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Household Electrical Appliances.

At the meeting, representatives from Anhui Zhongjiayun, Midea, Haier, Supor and other units shared the technical status of their respective companies in smart home appliance communication quality testing, focusing on the framework, evaluation objects, and evaluation plans of the "Home Appliances Communication Quality Evaluation Specification" standard Intense discussions were held on other technical contents and a broad consensus was reached on the core content of the standard. In the next step, the secretariat will organize a drafting working group to further improve the draft standard based on the conclusions of the meeting.
